What is a Cookie?
Cookies can save small information on the websites you visit, on your computer or on your phone, and then read this information when you visit the same site. The files in which this small information is saved are called cookies.
Cookies generally serve to improve your browsing experience and personalize sites. For example, if you select the "remember me" option when logging into a site, that site will save your user name, a cookie containing the products in your basket (or a special ID number) in your browser. Only the site that created them can read cookies, and the site determines how long they are stored.
